First Blog Post!

Hello, dear reader!  Welcome to The Constantly Unique Writing Emporium of Joan C. Gryffin.  Here is where I hope to post a little of everything; book reviews, random musings on my life, tales of my writing journey – the list goes on.

I've been writing for about three years now, but have only considered it a serious passion for around a year and a half.  My goal with this blog is to share some of the helpful lessons I've learned so far in my writing experience, and also to share some things with which I've struggled/am struggling.  Things like not knowing exactly how to write a first post ;)
First and foremost I am a Christian, trying and failing daily to live as Christ-like a life as I can. I'm grateful that I'm not the one responsible for my own salvation, and sooo relieved that He isn't finished changing me!


Along with all the above, I hope this blog will be a place for discussion!  So please, feel free to comment, just as long as it's respectful.
